"Being a graduate, I would highly recommend J&W. The director of the program, Mrs. Beukema (known as Mrs. B) is incredible, she really knows her stuff and works hard to keep the program updated and competitive. Ten years later and I still keep in touch with her. She will help you find a job for the rest of your life.
The classes were technical and hands-on. The field trips were fun and interesting, and to some BIG name breeding farms. The riding portion of the program has moved to a new barn, I haven't visited but I hear it is really nice and they have a good selection of horses, from beginners to school masters.
I only took the 2-yr degree (I was 20, didn't I already know it all?? LOL), but I would HIGHLY recommend staying for the 4 year. That's the only thing I regret is leaving too early, and now I have too many other responsibilities to go back and finish." Anon.
